Our Approach

A Structured Approach to Customer Satisfaction: The ASP Way

ASP is committed to deliver quality products to our customers. Customers will receive more than they expect every time they work with us. In order to achieve this goal we practice doing things right the first time. The guidelines and procedures below take the customer from initiating a project to receiving the results.

Statement of Need - The customer, with assistance from ASP, generates a single sentence statement describing what the problem is.

Statement of Requirement (SOR) - The customer, with assistance from ASP, generates a document describing the detailed requirements using the results of the discovery step. It documents what is and what is not important to the customer.

ASP provides a written response to the SOR together with an estimate of the size and cost of the project. ASP presents to customer the business proposition and technical approach.

Statement of Work (SOW) - ASP and the customer jointly develop this document detailing all the deliverables and commitments for the project, including an acceptance agreement/checklist.

ASP generates a written quotation based on the SOW. ASP presents the quotation and the statement of work to customer. The Customer issues Purchase Order.

ASP assigns a project team and a project manager. Customer and ASP points of contact are assigned.

Functional Specification/Design Specification - ASP generates engineering documents describing the design in detail. These are part of the project deliverables.

Project Management - ASP, using project management tools, gives customer visibility to the project and its milestones. Design reviews with ASP management and the customer are part of project management. ASP delivers the end product, and goes through the acceptance criteria/checklist in SOW with the customer.
